The 2024 RAM 1500 is available in Quad Cab or Crew Cab configurations and can seat up to five adults. The Crew Cab offers more space for rear-seat passengers. Depending on the trim, buyers can also get a lockable glove box and underfloor storage. In addition, the center console box can store a laptop of up to 15 inches in size.
In addition, RAM offers a range of interior trims and seat materials for the 2024 RAM 1500. Upscale models receive Natura Plus or Bristol perforated leather, open-pore wood trim, and black onyx chrome. On the other hand, lower trims come with cloth or vinyl seats, plus rubber floor mats.
The 2024 RAM 1500's exterior remains unchanged from the 2023 model. Buyers will receive steel or alloy wheels. RAM also offers a choice of two bed lengths for Crew Cabs. These are 5 foot 7 inches and 6 foot 4 inches, respectively. But the Quad Cab is only available with a 6-foot 4-inch bed.
An impressive option for the 2024 RAM 1500 is the Multifunction Tailgate. It features 60/40 swing-away doors that can open individually by up to 88 degrees. The 2024 RAM 1500 has three engines and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can also choose between two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive configurations.
The base engine is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with an eTorque mild-hybrid system. This engine churns out 305 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Next is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that can generate 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. This engine also includes the eTorque mild-hybrid system.
Meanwhile, the 2024 RAM 1500 TRX comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 that delivers 702 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque. It can do 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds.
RAM also offers two off-road performance enhancement packages for some trims of the 2024 1500. The Warlock package is available for the Tradesman trim. It includes all-terrain tires, a 1-inch lift, and performance-tuned shock absorbers. On the other hand, the BackCountry package is available for Big Horn variants. This brings heavy-duty shock absorbers, an Elocker® rear axle, and off-road tires.
