The 2021 Jeep Gladiator continues to offer a slick party trick, which is the ability to remove the doors and roof and cruise around open-air style. This is not surprising, as its stablemate, the Wrangler JL, offers the same selling point. You'll find a great array of aftermarket soft and hard tops for the Gladiator, just like on the Wrangler, plus cargo bed covers with locking functions if desired.
Five occupants can be carried in a 104-cubic-foot cabin that's nearly identical to the Wrangler's, and that's no bad thing. Payload capacities vary between 1,000 and 1,700 pounds, while towing capacities range between 4,000 and 7,650 pounds depending on spec and trim. You'll want the Heavy Duty Towing Package as well if you need to tow things regularly.
Safety features are adequate and include airbags, stability control, rollover protection, child safety locks, daytime running lamps, and brake assist. Optional features include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and forward-collision warning.
